Introduction

Generative artificial intelligence has rapidly become part of processes involving writing, creation, editing, research, education, and content production. Its presence raises new questions about authorship, responsibility, originality, and the role of human intervention.

The first edition of the Ibero-American Congress on Authorship in the Age of Artificial Intelligence opened a space for reflection on these transformations.

The second edition begins with a central question: What Does It Mean to Be an Author Today?

The Congress provides an interdisciplinary forum for examining how practices of creation, attribution, and responsibility are changing in contexts where artificial intelligence systems are involved.

The aim is not to seek a single answer, but to bring together diverse perspectives capable of enriching a debate that continues to evolve.

An interdisciplinary space with an Ibero-American identity, open to academics, researchers, professionals, authors, writers, and other creative voices from different countries.

Who Do We Invite?

We invite academics, researchers, professionals, authors, writers, and other creative voices from different countries who are interested in reflecting on authorship in the age of artificial intelligence.

The Congress is open to people from different disciplines, professional fields, and creative practices, provided that their proposal maintains a clear and substantive connection with the central theme of the event.

Proposals may be submitted in English or Spanish.
